Germany's Armee der Tristen Releases Live EP of Rammstein Cover Songs, Announces Tour

Rare live EP of Chicago-based metal band Armee der Tristen's covers of Rammstein songs released on streaming services

Band announces Midwestern and Eastern Coast tour to promote EP; tickets go on sale Friday, December 9th

Chicago-based metal band Armee der Tristen has released a live EP of the band's covers of German industrial metal band Rammstein. The EP, titled Armee der Tristen Live in Berlin 04062022, was recorded at the Columbiahalle in Berlin, Germany on June 4th, 2022, and features six songs from Rammstein's catalog, including "Du Hast," "Sonne," and "Ich Will." The EP is available now on all major streaming services.

In addition to the release of the EP, Armee der Tristen has also announced a Midwestern and Eastern Coast tour in support of the EP. The tour will begin on March 3rd, 2023, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and will conclude on March 18th, 2023, in Brooklyn, New York. Tickets for the tour will go on sale this Friday, December 9th, at 10am EST.

Armee der Tristen has been praised for their energetic live performances and their faithful renditions of Rammstein's songs. The band has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as In This Moment, Motionless in White, and Avatar. Armee der Tristen is currently working on their debut full-length album, which is expected to be released in 2023.
