Francesco Bagnaia of the Ducati Lenovo Team has scored a resounding victory in the 2024 Dutch MotoGP Sprint race at Assen. The Italian rider dominated the field on the hot and sunny circuit, cementing his status as one of the sport's rising stars.
Bagnaia started the race from pole position and quickly established a comfortable lead. His Ducati Desmosedici GP24 proved to be a formidable machine, allowing him to maintain a consistent pace throughout the 10-lap sprint. Meanwhile, his rivals struggled to keep up, falling back one by one.
The race was marred by a series of crashes, with 15 riders retiring from the competition. Jorge Martin of Pramac Racing took advantage of the attrition to secure second place, while Alex Rins of LCR Honda completed the podium.
